welcome to the
Kansas Water Environment Association

The Kansas Water Environment Association (KWEA) is a nonprofit technical and educational organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of water throughout the state of Kansas. Our organization consists of over 450 engineers, operators, lab techs, and professionals working hard to give you the best quality water possible.

As a go-to resource for Kansas water professionals, KWEA works to support members, the industry, and the public through education, certification, training, networking, leadership opportunities, and problem solving in order to improve the water environment.

KWEA is a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of 35,000 individual members and 75 affiliated member associations representing water quality professionals around the world. Since 1928, WEF and its members have protected public health and the environment. As a global water sector leader, their mission is to connect water professionals, enrich the expertise of water professionals, increase the awareness of the impact and value of water, and provide a platform for water sector innovation.
